AREUDUM?← Back to class
THE SMALL PRINT, IN NORMAL-SIZED WORDS

School-level questions.
Proper report cards.

AREUDUM has 90 original short-answer questions. Each game randomly selects five questions from each of six rounds. Maths covers reasoning, measures, fractions and simple early KS3 concepts; quick maths is basic arithmetic. English, science and spelling mostly target England’s KS2 curriculum. General knowledge is deliberately easy.

UK question banks & curriculum sources

The official question-bank collection below provides real SATs papers and mark schemes. AREUDUM’s questions are independently written, using these subject areas and curriculum references; they are not a reproduction of a SATs paper or an official assessment.

How marking works

Everyone in a room receives the same questions in the same order and can answer at their own pace. Each question has a two-minute deadline measured by the server, including time spent disconnected. Submit or skip to move on. Blank answers and timeouts receive zero. Correct answers earn one point. There is no speed bonus; equal top scores share the win.

Marking ignores capitalisation, surrounding spaces and a trailing full stop or exclamation mark. Numeric rounds accept equivalent decimals and common unit suffixes. Text questions use a curated list of accepted answers. Spelling must otherwise be correct; Claude does not change marks. At the end, every player’s answers, corrections and timings are available in the evidence section.

The roast & your data

When everyone finishes, usernames, answers, scores and answer times are sent server-side to Anthropic’s Claude Opus to write the group report and individual roasts. Use a nickname and keep personal information out of your answers. Roasts target your performance in the game.

If the AI is unavailable or the service’s review capacity is reached, a clearly labelled “House roast” provides an immediate alternative. Scores remain the same. Room data expires after 24 hours on the game server. Your nickname is remembered on this browser; your private seat token and unsent drafts are stored for this browser tab. The API key is never sent to players.
